Location – York office, Site based – around York, Leeds, Middlesbrough and surrounding areas – typically working 39 hours per week – Monday to Friday

An outline of your responsibilities and experience ​

  • Experienced Joiner, experience of working on all aspects of joinery, especially with door instillations, the role will work on passive fire protection fire door joinery including but not limited to;  instillations of fire doors, maintenance and refurbishment of fire doors and surveying (training will be given on the fire doors)
  • Experience working within an Social Housing environment distinct advantage.
  • Previous experience working in a live environment essential
  • Working from job tickets or a handheld device daily
  • Working in co-operation with other trades/occupations as well as the site or contract team, whilst managing own time effectively
  • CSCS card or CSkills preferred but not essential as training will be given.
  • Following Novus’ exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards
  • Full UK Driving Licence is required.

About You

Ideally you will possess a Joinery qualification,  further training in passive fire protection, including in Health and Safety will be given. What is equally as important is the ability to take responsibility to ensure tasks are completed and the willingness to work in and as a team to deliver a great service.  We have exciting growth plans and want people who are equally as ambitious as we are.
