As a result of our success, we are seeking an enthusiastic Contracts Supervisor on a 6-month contract to join Basingstoke team, covering Oxford, Reading, Slough, Uxbridge and Hemel Hempstead areas.

Summary – Contracts Supervisor
Experienced Contract Supervisor to supervise our responsive repairs and void team, supporting and managing trades operatives and work closely with planning team to maximise productivity.
Working within the Social Housing sector specifically working on repairs and void properties.
Main responsibilities – Contracts Supervisor

Supervise and Manage repair and void works

Liaise with clients
-
Attend weekly service delivery (Teams) meetings

Deal with telephone escalation on Out of Hours service rota. (approx. 1 week in 6)

Ensure smooth running of a number of contracts with zero defects

Procure any necessary labour to complete the job

Fully conversant with all aspects of construction contracts

Deliver site inductions
-
Hold monthly sub-contractor update meetings

Deliver toolbox talks
Key requirements
-
Must hold a current SMSTS
-
Trade background is preferred
-
Must have a background of Social Housing maintenance
-
Covering out of hours escalation phone on a rota basis
-
Hold a full UK driving licence and be flexible with regards to travel

Health and Safety knowledge essential

First Aid at Work qualification required

Must be fully conversant with MS Office
