We are specialists in the installation and application of passive fire protection products and endorse the use of third-party accreditation bodies such as “Certifire” and the fire accreditation scheme “FIRAS”. Working in both public and private sectors has allowed us to develop a wealth of experience in the provision of high-quality services that focus on a right first time approach.
Passive Fire Protection
As a Firas-approved contractor, Novus offers a comprehensive range of certified passive fire protection services through our dedicated Assure team.
We are able to provide the peace of mind and reassurance that your buildings will deliver adequate protection for occupants in the event of a fire.
Novus provides FD fire doors and maintenance, penetration sealing systems, and compartmentation – all accompanied by the requisite Fire Safety Certification.
All colleagues involved in the delivery of passive fire protection are undergoing additional training by the Association of Specialist Fire Protection to gain a qualification with the Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE) –
- Passive Fire Protection Lead Supervisors – IFE Level 3 Certificate in Passive Fire Protection
- Passive Fire Protection Supervisors – IFE Level 2 Certificate in Passive Fire Protection
- Passive Fire Protection Operatives – Continuous in-house technical briefings provided by the PFP Lead and online training
Novus is a member of the Association of Specialist Fire Protection – demonstrating professionalism and competency that exceeds the expectations of the industry.
Fire Sprinkler Systems
Novus provides a complete service for the installation of bespoke fire sprinkler and misting systems including fit-outs within new build properties and retrofit to existing residential, commercial and industrial properties.
Automatic water suppression systems (AWSS) are the most effective way to ensure fires are suppressed, or even extinguished, before the fire service arrive.
