Novus is working on behalf of Wrexham County Borough Council delivering planned, responsive and project works to both void and occupied dwellings across social housing properties for an £8m contract.
What work did Novus carry out?

- Loft insulation (of void properties)
- Installation of economy 10 heating
- Structural walls
- Pointing brickwork
- Removal and reinstatement of PV and solar panels
- Re-wiring

- Re-fabrications
Energy efficient
When refurbishing the void property roofs, we ensured all loft insulation was upgraded and brought up to current energy efficiency standards. We have also installed new condensing boilers to upgrade central heating systems. This has drastically reduced the running costs on Wrexham County Borough Council properties across their housing stock.
Local operatives and Subcontractors
The works are resourced using locally based, directly employed Operatives and approved Subcontractors from the Wrexham area. This helps with the efficiency of logistics as well as benefitting the local community through employment and skills development.
