Novus Property Solutions, complete the external construction of a new drive through Costa Coffee in Burton-on-Trent

Details of Project

The new drive through Costa Coffee was completed in October 2021, making it Burton-on-Trent’s fifth coffee shop owned by the popular chain. The plans were approved by East Staffordshire Borough Council and the new store has been located on Centrum Retail East Park, providing a food and drinks facility to the main nearby retail units.

Working on the Contract

Novus constructed the new 1800 ft² external structure using a traditional steel framing system. This system was chosen for the structure of the building as it is far stronger and more durable than traditional wood framed alternatives. Novus also used ground bearing slab for the construction of the drive through lane, external paving and car park alterations.

How has the client benefitted?

Alongside the high standard of delivered works, Costa has benefited from the efficiency of the team in completing the project on time and on budget.
