Planned refurbishment programme

Properties all over the UK have received a range of refurbishments, as part of a multi-million pound contract from CarillionAmey.

Properties in Suffolk, Devon, Cornwall, North Yorkshire, Bedfordshire and Wiltshire were part of the programme of planned refurbishments, with a series of kitchen and bathroom upgrades and roof repairs delivered to a high specification to bring first class facilities to Armed Forces families living in Service Family Accommodation.

Careful planning and co-ordination were key elements of the success in delivering a high volume of works across the country in a short period of time. Facing high demand for specified products, Novus had to work closely with suppliers to ensure CarillionAmey’s exact requirements were met.

Daniel Easthope, managing director of CarillionAmey, said: “We have been delighted with the high standard of refurbishment work carried out by Novus.

“Working on behalf of the Defence Infrastructure Organisation, our joint aim is to provide the MOD with an effective housing and maintenance service and it’s really important that the companies chosen for this work understand the importance of what we do to support our Armed Forces. Novus has proved it does.”

Thomas Crompton, key accounts manager at Novus Property Solutions, added: “The feedback we have received from customers at the properties has been very positive, and this is a reflection of the quality of both the specification and the work carried out in the refurbishment process. The project required high levels of turnover in a short time frame, while maintaining extremely high standards at every property. We are delighted that the project outcome has not only met but exceeded expectations.”
