Batemans Brewery

Our East Midlands office carried out external decorations to a number of Bateman Brewery Public Houses. The company is an independent Brewing Company which owns 51 pubs in total.
Works were completed in the following locations:
Ball House – Boston
Dog and Bone – Lincoln
Kings Head – Bonsall
Palmeston Arms – Peterborough
Treaty of Commerce – Lincoln
Victoria inn – Lincoln
Willoughby Arms – Alford.
The scope of the contract includes the delivery of external works including windows, doors, eaves, fascias, soffits, metal works, masonry and timber faces.
Some of the buildings were in busy locations, including the Treaty of Commerce in Lincoln which in on the high street in the town centre. Therefore, extra precautions and care need to be taken when carrying out the works and work permits had to be acquired.
The public houses varied dramatically, with us redecorating a mixture period and modern buildings. Therefore, all were painted in line with the period they were built to aesthetically appease their original style.
The core painter works were 100% self-delivered using locally based, directly employed Painters & Decorators and were managed by a designated management and supervisory team from our East Midlands operational office.
The use of approved sub-contractors was restricted to requirements of a specialist nature in support of the core service provision including scaffold and asbestos management services.
