Supporting BBC’s DIY SOS
After hearing the impassioned pleas from BBC presenter Nick Knowles for help to complete the biggest ever DIY SOS challenge in Manchester, we leapt to action!
A team of skilled operatives from our Warrington office, along with Emma Rowlands from the bid team and CSR
manager Kevin Rhone, all headed to site to volunteer their time and skills. The ambitious project involved refurbishing an entire street to create a number of homes for retired armed forces veterans and their families to help them rebuild their lives.
Over the course of two weeks, hundreds of tradesmen and women gave up their time to do their bit. The site was even visited by Princes William and Harry who rolled up their sleeves and got involved too!
Everyone who had the opportunity to help out on the project commented on how inspiring it was to have been involved.
An ‘Eggs’ellent Effort by the Novus Easter Bunnies
Easter is a time of year that can be even more challenging for people and families struggling to afford food, which is why our employees (or Novus Easter Bunnies) across the country wanted to play their part in donating Easter Eggs to local Food Banks.
