Safe sites make Novus first choice
Our reputation for safety and sustainability has led to us being asked to design and build a terrace of bungalows within a sheltered housing block in Stoke-on-Trent.

The project, which is currently ongoing, will see a terrace of three two-bedroom bungalows completed within the grounds of Wooldridge Court, which already contains 27 flats with communal areas and combined living, dining and kitchen spaces.
The new bungalows will feature brick face walls and pitched, tiled roofs, and along with associated siteworks and drainage, the project is valued at around £320,000. Work commenced in May 2015 and is due for completion in February 2016.
Wooldridge Court has undergone a full programme of remodelling in recent months, and the new bungalows will complement the modernised, free-flowing spaces that provide residents with a vibrant, uplifting environment.
The completed buildings will comply with Homes and Communities Agency Design and Quality Standards, meeting Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3 Certification.
Bid manager, Matt Harnett, commented: “One of the reasons we won this particular contract is down to our reputation for excellent site safety, especially on residential projects such as this. We’ve maintained the highest standards of safety for the residents of Wooldridge Court throughout the construction process while also ensuring disruption is kept to a minimum.”
