ROOM SERVICE: NOVUS PROJECTS SERVICE CELEBRATES HOTEL SECTOR SUCCESS

We’re celebrating a fully-booked year for our Projects service in 2024 after completing over £49 million of work for our valued clients across the hotel sector.

Our dedicated Fast Track Fit-Out team, part of our Public Services & Commercial Division, successfully completed fit-outs on 38 hotel projects last year, refurbishing or fitting over 3,000 individual hotel rooms nationwide.

Crucially, through collaboration with hotel management, the hotels were able to remain operational as the room fit-outs took place thanks to our team’s ability to work efficiently and without causing any disruption to the hotel staff or guests as they worked. Our team would work on agreed sections of the hotel at any one time, keeping works separate from the hotels operations and allowing a seamless upgrade over the agreed sectional programme.

Fit-outs ranged from conditional works where we were responsible for only specified repair works such as decoration or retiling to full strip-outs and refits, which would see our team taking the hotel room back to its bare bones, fully rewiring, new bathrooms, joinery, and furniture – ready for guests to check into.
