Novus to regenerate Highfields site
The 32 new residences we're currently creating on the site of the former Westway public house in Highfields, Stafford, will bring a much-needed boost to the area.

More than 20 disused garages on the site have been demolished in order for the regeneration to take place, and work has begun on the creation of two new blocks of flats and 14 new houses.
We're working with Jennings Design Associates on the contract for Stafford and Rural Homes (SARH), and we've also enlisted ABA consulting to oversee the structural and draining designs for the project, which is scheduled to complete in January 2017.
The construction work will involve the careful consideration of an electrical substation on the site, and the new properties will also be created without disturbance to the sewers that exist in the area.
The entire project will fulfill the requirements of the Considerate Contractors Scheme, and the team has been liaising closely with King Edward VI High School, which occupies an adjacent site, to ensure the construction work does not affect school staff or students.
Karen Armitage, SARH chief executive, said: “This is an important project for us as we look to continue delivering affordable homes to meet local needs.
“We are delighted to be working with Novus Property Solutions - our construction partner on a number of previous schemes – on this latest development that will provide a real boost for the community.”
Adam Williams, construction manager at Novus Property Solutions, added: “Novus has a long history of delivering social housing schemes, and we are excited to be bringing a boost to Highfields with the creation of 32 new homes.”
