NOVUS TEAM DELIVER REDECORATION OF COMMUNITY SPACE

Building on our ongoing commitment to give back to the areas in which we work, members of the Novus team recently delivered the redecoration of a community room in partnership with Karbon Homes.
While carrying out works to a number of void properties as part of a three-year contract with Karbon, we seized the opportunity to redecorate a community space for the benefit of residents and the wider community.
Situated in The Manors – an over-55s assisted living centre in Prudhoe, Gateshead – the space was in need of some TLC to create a more welcoming environment for all. Being used by residents and several local community groups, the newly redecorated space is a vast improvement, with a bright, airy and more modern feel.
David Taylor, Novus Operations Manager commented,
“We are extremely proud to have supported the redecoration of The Manor’s community room as part of our commitment to delivering social value across Karbon Homes’ communities. This builds on our wider aim of helping the country ‘Build Back Better’ from the Covid-19 pandemic.”
Lauren McKie, Karbon Homes Extra Care Scheme Coordinator commented;
“I can’t thank the Novus team enough for making this happen. They were great, so friendly and helpful! The room looks so much better as a result of the redecoration and will have a positive impact on the wellbeing of our customers.”
Improving community facilities can act as a driver for positive change, with the overall impact having a wider geographical reach. We are thrilled to have been able to improve the facility and hope it can provide a welcoming environment for years to come.
