Novus maintains strength in Yorkshire
We remain strong in Yorkshire, having won a string of contracts with a number of high profile clients, valued at more than £450,000.

Contractors from our York office are completing exterior redecoration and repair work on 500 properties owned by social housing provider Yorkshire Housing, as part of a one year rolling contract.

We are repainting properties and completing repairs to wood work, fencing, windows, fascias and gutters across the Yorkshire area for the social landlord. The work began in March and will be completed by September.

Since work began, we have received a score of 97% customer satisfaction, maintaining and cementing our excellent reputation for high quality delivery and service.

Meanwhile, we have completed the external redecoration of the Knavesmire Stand at York Racecourse, applying fire retardant paint to upgrade the stand to meet regulations.

We have an ongoing partnership with the racecourse, and spent six weeks redecorating the award-winning stand to the highest standards, working around the venue’s schedule to ensure race meetings and other events were not disrupted.

For Hanover Housing Group, we have completed the internal redecoration of communal areas at the 25-bed Rossefield Manor in Leeds, transforming the social housing scheme into a brighter place for its retired residents.

We applied designer wall coverings to areas such as the foyer and staircases, working in partnership with the scheme provider to select and apply the most suitable coverings in order to improve the aesthetics of the building’s interior.

Nick Haigh, operations manager, said: “These contract wins showcase Novus’ robust presence in the maintenance and refurbishment market and cement our position as a leading contractor in the Yorkshire region, and beyond. We’re committed to delivering the highest quality solutions for all of our clients, teaming local knowledge with national strength, and look forward to continuing and maintaining our partnerships.”
