NOVUS INCREASES PRESENCE IN EDUCATION SECTOR FOLLOWING CONTRACT WINS

We have continued our growth within the education sector with several recent contract and framework wins for universities and colleges across the north of England.
These latest awards follow a highly successful first half of the year for us, and continues to help us achieve our ambitious five-year growth strategy.
The highest value win is an estimated £1.5 million two-year Building Works measured term contract working with the University of Newcastle with the option to extend for a further two years. The framework will see us carrying out building refurbishments and improvement works throughout the University’s property portfolio.
We have also been awarded a further higher education contract in Ormskirk, Lancashire. The three-year measured term contract, with the option to extend for a further year, will see our expert team complete minor works and maintenance for Edge Hill University, bringing in £50,000 to £500,000 per project.
Following four successful years working with York College, we have won a place on a three-year framework agreement that will see its team carry out a range of painting and decorating services across the college campus. We will work throughout the college to create a more modern and contemporary feel for students, staff and visitors.
Furthermore, highlighting our reach throughout Great Britain, we have been awarded a significant contract just under £100,000 with the University of Worcester, to deliver a fast-track refurbishment to the lecture rooms on St Johns Campus.
Commenting on this latest round of success within the education sector, Lee Hartley, our Executive Director said: “We’re delighted to have won a number of contracts and frameworks within the education sector in the first half of this year, as we continue to build upon the successful launch of our business-wide growth strategy. |
