Novus Excellence Awards lunch a roaring success
Members of the Novus team marked a successful 2014 by attending an Excellence Awards Lunch at the Britannia Stadium in Stoke-on-Trent.
About 150 employees gathered at the home of Stoke City Football Club to celebrate this year’s Excellence Award winners and to find out who our Apprentice of the Year is. Congratulations to Paul Andrews from our Cambridge office, who won the crown!
Glen Speight, who works in the East Midlands, was runner up, while James Riley of our Wrexham office was highly commended.
Jimmy Philips, Lee Hollins and Gary Precious were handed special acknowledgements for their work, while Mike Demattia and Linda Lewis received awards for long service. The awards were presented by Stoke City captain Ryan Shawcross.
Olympic gold medal winner James Cracknell delivered a motivational talk at the lunch, and even handed his two gold medals around the room for all to see. Our chairman Stuart Seddon and managing directors Neil Hand and Mark Brindley also took to the lectern to speak to guests.
Well done to everyone who attended the event – you have all helped to make 2014 one of our strongest years ever!
