NOVUS DELIVERS EXCELLENCE FOR LONG-TERM CLIENT BROMFORD

We’re proud to have successfully delivered £6.5 million of maintenance for housing association Bromford during the 2023/24 financial year, in a partnership spanning more than a decade.

During this financial period, we completed work on 4,834 properties across Staffordshire and The Marches, East and West Midlands, and Gloucestershire, enhancing the living conditions of residents through direct and lasting impact. Our vast experience in delivering this type of work led to minimal disruption to residents, resulting in an exceptional customer advocacy score of 99.6 per cent. We also delivered a series of social value projects across these communities including the refurbishment of six bedrooms of a women’s refuge in Staffordshire.

We are proud to be Bromford’s longstanding partner for a variety of planned maintenance works across its extensive portfolio, having worked together since Novus was launched as its own entity in 2013. We resecured a £12 million programme with Bromford in 2018 and have successfully delivered approximately £13 million of roofing works across the housing association’s extensive portfolio since 2019.

Gary Clay, Head of Operations at Novus Property Solutions said: “As a family-owned business with a longstanding people-centric ethos, our partnership approach ensures that people always come first, from clients and residents to members of the wider communities in which we work.

“We’re delighted to have once again demonstrated our commitment to delivering excellence through continuously diversifying our service offering to meet client demand, including our recent introduction of flat-to-pitch, differing flat and pitched roof overing solutions and the associated insulation and ventilation upgrades to properties. Our work across Bromford’s significant property portfolio has been delivered to an excellent standard, evidenced by fantastic feedback from the client and residents, and we look forward to continuing to build on this success through further work with Bromford.”

Dan Arrowsmith, Investment Surveyor at Bromford, added: “Novus have built a strong relationship with Bromford which I have seen first hand over a 12-year period, consistently demonstrating a ‘can do’ attitude over a variety of work streams we collaborate on, whether that be delivering multi million pound roofing programmes or be-spoke projects across our geographical area.

“The team is driven and professional to the core, they continually monitor their processes, they are never static in their approach, they always look to adapt and develop to improve their service to us as a client and our customers. They deliver a high standard of work, supported by a team that are accessible, engaging and versatile that aligns with the values and DNA of Bromford.

“Novus’s commitment to social value projects is unchallenged, enhancing their reputation within the wider Bromford community. The footprint they have left in communities they have worked in has been recognised by our Locality leaders, customers and beyond.”
