Novus continues Staffordshire success
We're going from strength to strength in the marketplace, having secured a string of high-profile new-build commercial and residential contracts in the Staffordshire area totalling in the region of £2.5 million.

We've begun construction on a new factory extension for renowned Stoke-based tableware manufacturer Steelite International. The £1.6 million new-build extension at the firm’s Longport factory, due for completion in summer 2014, will double capacity and help to create more jobs for people in the Stoke area.

We have also secured a contract valued at more than £645,000 to build eight new terraced properties for Stoke-on-Trent Housing Society, which will be managed by Aspire Housing Ltd. The development will meet exacting design and energy efficiency standards in keeping with NHBC’s 21st Century Housing Guide to provide modern, high-performance affordable housing to the Berryhill area of Stoke.

Meanwhile, we will also construct three energy efficient homes for Aspire Housing at Bignall End in Newcastle-under-Lyme in a contract valued at £291,000 and scheduled for completion in June. Despite being constructed on a tight footprint, the energy efficient homes will provide front and rear gardens together with separate parking for each property.

Neil Hand, joint managing director, said: “We’re delighted with our continued success in our target markets and securing these high-profile contracts has cemented our reputation as the contractor of choice in and around Stoke-on-Trent, where our headquarters is proudly based.

“Our wealth of experience, commitment to high-quality construction and ability to meet diverse demands continues to be rewarded on home soil and we aim to maintain our growth throughout the year.”
