Novus builds on southern success
Our team in London and the South East is celebrating a series of high profile contract wins as we continue to build on robust foundations in the region.

We have won a seven-year framework contract with Gosport Borough Council to provide internal and external redecoration work to the local authority’s housing stock in the coastal town.

The partnership will see the Novus team draw on its experience and work closely with the council to establish the condition of its properties, so as to ensure the provision of quality homes for tenants.

Meanwhile we are completing external fabric repairs, pre-paint repairs and redecoration at a building run by youth educational organisation the Kingswood Centre on the Isle of Wight.

Operatives from our Poole, Romford and Cambridge offices will work around the activity of the busy learning centre to deliver the programme of work in a tight six-week timescale.

Also for the Kingswood Centre, we are completing external fabric repairs, pre-paint repairs and minor roofing and redecoration work at Grosvenor Hall in Kent, another of the organisation’s educational schemes which caters for young people.

The hall is a Grade II Listed building, so the team will work in partnership with Kingswood’s on-site facilities managers to ensure works are completed sympathetically and in keeping with the building and its heritage.

In Milton Keynes, the team is completing external redecoration and repair work for Milton Keynes Council, across the local authority’s entire housing stock. The work will be delivered in a 15-week period, showcasing our ability to deliver the highest quality service while meeting strict deadlines.

Towards the Midlands, we are completing work at Saint Francis of Assisi in Duston, Northampton, over a 12-week period. The team is also carrying out interior redecoration, along with specialist plastering and specialist water proofing.  Also in the Northampton area, we have completed internal and external repairs and redecoration at Shaw Healthcare Centre, inside a strict six-week time scale.

Jeff Tourmentin, strategic operations manager for London and the South East regions, said: “These high profile contracts wins build on the company’s ongoing successes on both national and regional scales, helping to further cement Novus as the go-to contractor for refurbishment and maintenance services in London and the South East regions.

“Our multi-trade team members consistently showcase their ability to deliver the highest quality work inside strict time frames, and these contracts are a prime example of this. We look forward to continuing our partnerships with our client base and to further successes.”
