Novus brings festive cheer with food bank donation
Our Bathgate office has made a welcome donation to a Midlothian food bank ahead of the festive season.

More than £150 worth of food and essential supplies was donated to the Trussell Trust Midlothian Food Bank in Gorebridge. Run entirely by volunteers, the food bank provides an invaluable lifeline, giving three days of emergency food to those most in need.

The food bank has been the nominated charity for Melville Housing Association throughout 2015 and our Bathgate team decided to make this donation in recognition of Melville Housing Association’s 20th anniversary.

Andrew Noble, Melville chief executive said: “The Foodbank is an extremely important charity providing invaluable help and support to local people. We’re delighted to see the very generous donations from Novus staff which will make a real difference to people struggling to make ends meet at what can be a very expensive time of year. A big thank you to Novus and to all involved.”

We've worked closely with Midlothian-based Melville Housing, which has almost 2,000 properties in the region, providing reactive and emergency repairs to its housing stock, factored properties and void properties for several years.
