Novus awarded kitchen installation contract by East Riding of Yorkshire Council
Novus Property Solutions has been awarded a valuable kitchen installation contract by East Riding of Yorkshire Council for its housing stock.
This contract will see Novus providing a full turnkey service, which will include surveying the properties and designing the kitchens prior to their installation.
The large-scale project is due to begin in April 2021 and has been awarded for a minimum of three years with the potential to extend for a further three years.
Novus teams will work closely with East Riding of Yorkshire Council to ensure that all works are carried out safely and in line with Covid-19 measures.
As well as working with East Riding of Yorkshire Council throughout the process, Novus will work with the end-user from the survey and design phase until completion.
Working with Residents
Residents of properties receiving a new kitchen will work with designers on the kitchen layout, and will be given a choice of elements including the kitchen units and worktops.
David Taylor, operations manager at Novus Property Solutions, said:
“We’re delighted to have been awarded this contract by East Riding of Yorkshire Council and it’s a great opportunity for our regional office to both sustain and develop additional works into the footprint of the East Riding. This award supports similar services that Novus delivers within this sector and reinforces Novus’ strategic growth strategy .
“Our aim is always to deliver the best possible outcome for both the client and end-user, so we’re pleased to be working with a client that offers residents flexibility in choosing a kitchen design that will work best for them.”
Neil Sunley, principle housing maintenance officer at East Riding of Yorkshire Council, added:
“My team and I congratulate Novus on the contract win and very much look forward to building a strong working relationship with the team.”
An ‘Eggs’ellent Effort by the Novus Easter Bunnies
Easter is a time of year that can be even more challenging for people and families struggling to afford food, which is why our employees (or Novus Easter Bunnies) across the country wanted to play their part in donating Easter Eggs to local Food Banks.
