Movember fever! /

Movember fever!
A team of 34 from across the business have been taking part in this year’s Movember challenge to raise awareness for men’s health.
 
This year we decided to join the Hard Hat and High Vis Challenge run by the Movember foundation, which saw a network of 18 companies within the construction industry coming together to change the face of men’s health. The amazing fundraising efforts will help to tackle prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity.

Our team raised £620 as well as raising the profile of the four major areas that affect men’s health, which we cannot put a price on. It’s a scary subject that no-one likes to talk about, but hopefully we can raise awareness for men to take their lives into their own hands.

The boys took it very seriously and sent us their moustache reports each week using the hashtags #changinglives and #Movember for all to see. After week one’s moustache reports we thought they could do with some style advice! But it wasn’t just the boys, our vans sported moustaches for the month too and the Novus ladies showed their support with these spectacular stick-on moustaches!

Site supervisor Stuart Bell was the winner of the best moustache and will receive a wet shave.
