Launching our new specialist recruitment site

We've unveiled a brand-new recruitment microsite as part of our ongoing commitment to investing in our staff and helping to bridge the skills gap.

As well as clearly highlighting all current vacancies from apprentice painters to quantity surveyors, and giving candidates the chance to easily apply for new positions, there’s also a host of useful information about us, all in one handy online hub.

With our head office in Stoke-on-Trent and 30 regional offices around the UK, we have around 1,000 permanent members of staff and counting. We've always put a great deal of emphasis on hiring the very best staff, as well as investing in continual training and development programmes, including our annual apprentice programme. Our commitment to staff development was just one of the reasons that we were named Employer of the Year at the Construction News Awards in 2015.

By exploring the new microsite, which also features profiles of staff from across the business, applicants can get the full picture of working life with us, including benefits on offer from getting involved in our wide-ranging CSR activities to undertaking relevant training opportunities and being recognised through our company-wide reward scheme.

Refurbished Room for Homeless

FROM GAMES ROOM TO BEDROOM FOR A HOMELESS SHELTER

Demonstrating our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, the Novus Bangor Office have refurbished an unused games room into a bedroom in support of helping a local Homeless Shelter.   A Helping Hand to the Homeless of Wales During the cold winter months, it goes without saying that a warm bed for the night is invaluable to a member of the homeless community. With that in mind, the Novus Bangor Office worked in partnership with North Wales Housing Association recently to support a bedroom upgrade. Novus provided their refurbishment services to help a local homeless shelter transform a disused existing games room into a much needed, well equipped, and comfortable extra bedroom. With over 400 rough sleepers in Wales alone, the scale of the problem is seemingly huge. As part of our commitment to helping those who are at their most vulnerable in society, Novus Bangor Office  wanted to help tackle homelessness in North Wales by providing a helping hand. The completed upgrade now gives one extra person a bed for the night during these colder nights. It is hoped that the facility will also be used by over 300 people in the coming year. A Team Effort The newly refurbished bedroom has benefitted from new doors to both the entrance and wardrobe, these kindly were supplied and fitted by BDL Fire Protection. Complete refurbishment of the flooring was generously donated by Ross Hughes Flooring. Subcontractors PJR Electrical completed all electrical work from new plug sockets to repositioning the CCTV camera. Finally, there was a new sink facility fitted and full decoration of the room including a bed, mattress, bedside table, and chest of draws. CSR at Novus Corporate Social Responsibility is at the core of everything we do at Novus and we are extremely proud to help support such a fantastic project.
