A PROUD MEMBER OF THE NATIONAL HOME DECARBONISATION GROUP

We’re delighted to announce that we are now a member of the National Home Decarbonisation Group (NHDG), a coalition of businesses delivering high quality energy efficiency measures and low carbon technologies at scale across the UK’s housing stock.

The NHDG’s objective is to create a collaborative platform for its members to focus on the three core areas critical to achieving the government’s ambitious targets for the sector: growing the retrofit supply chain, advising on policy, and stimulating innovation. All of these will underpin support for households during the ongoing energy, cost of living, health, and climate crises.

Comprising a series of Tier 1 contractors and energy suppliers specialising in retrofit residential decarbonisation at scale, NHDG’s members will carry out the majority of large-scale domestic retrofit work in the UK over the coming years. The NHDG is spearheading the charge for improvements in skills and innovation, including the digitalisation of retrofit, increased off-site solutions, and the development of finance solutions to help create a stronger and more efficient industry.

As a highly experienced specialist decarbonisation contractor through our dedicated Sustain service, Novus is ideally placed to support the NHDG in achieving these objectives.

Joining the NHDG closely follows our appointment of Rebecca Hart as Head of Sustain, a brand-new position within our business as we continue to invest in this critical service offering to help our clients across the housing sector meet net zero targets.
