Salvation Army Housing Association. Improving lives through customer engagement /
This year the Novus Excellence Awards highlighted some of the most inspiring of our Changing Lives projects, which have taken place throughout the year. The aim of these Changing Lives Awards was to acknowledge and highlight some of the most inspiring stories and to acknowledge the individuals and teams who have played a key role in making a difference. We asked our employees to put forward the Changing Lives projects they were most proud and the Poole Housing Partnership was one of ten Changing Lives projects acknowledged.
The Novus SAHA team who work across the country continually support SAHA’s commitment to partnership working for the benefit of local communities. We have recently worked on helping a women’s refuge refurbishment in Leeds, where Novus converted the hard-paved drying area, into a communal garden We have also took part in a garden makeover in Derby, where a team of volunteers helped tackle resident issues of dog fouling and having nowhere to sit by creating raised flower beds. In both examples the residents were engaged every step of the way.
