Novus Apprentice Selection Week Challenge /
Novus Apprentice Selection Week Challenge
For one of days of the Novus Apprentice selection week in Stoke, all 30 Trainees who have the chance to gain employment with Novus as an Apprentice will be taking part in a community project challenge. This initiative will be in the format of the BBC's DIY SOS (i.e. A big one day community challenge involving all our partners).

The Novus trainees and supporting Novus employees will be aiming to transform a rundown public footpath that links the Middleport Pottery managed by The Prince's Charities with the local community, a Bowling club will also be refurbished opposite the footpath and fly-tipping will also cleared from some of the derelict housing neighbouring the pottery.

The aim is to building upon the success of last year's Novus Apprentice Challenge which transformed a section of wasteland into a car park opposite the Middleport Pottery. The overall aim of the projects this year is to improve some of the 'black spots' to the area surrounding the Middleport Pottery.
