  • Royal Mail

The Royal Mail estate is diverse and widespread. It includes:
  • Retail Outlets
  • Local Distribution Centres
  • Major Sorting Offices
  • Engineering Centres
  • Office Blocks

We are one of eight framework contractors nationally for Responsive Repairs. Our exclusive area of responsibility is the Midlands & Wales.
Under a separate framework contract we are one of six contractors nationally delivering their Planned Maintenance & Minor Works Programme. The contracts have a combined annual value exceeding £5,000,000. Particular features of the frameworks are:

Integrated Supply Chain
The framework projects involve working collaboratively with Royal Mail’s subsidiary Romec, as well as other directly appointed contractors for specialist services and equipment.

Shared Management Systems
The responsive repairs works are managed through their Informer works management software. We are linked directly to this system receiving instructions and inputting data directly.

Measured Performance
The management systems enable all aspects of performance to be measured as Key Performance Indicators. These are used to compare performance between the framework contractors.

Security Cleared People
Due to the sensitivity of their operations in some aspects of the business we provide a security cleared workforce to the frameworks.

Diverse Work Profile
We provide a complete responsive repairs service, including an out of hours emergency repairs service. We also provide a complete planned & cyclical maintenance service whilst the minor works element covers such projects as:
  • New retail outlets
  • Remodelling of outlets & offices
  • End of lease dilapidations
  • Structural repairs/alterations

Our Achievement
As mentioned above, the framework uses detailed KPIs to assess the performance of every contractor. They use these KPIs as the basis of their annual service awards which we have won twice.
