Open Doors: Supporting the future of the industry

We’re proud to be supporting the future of the construction industry by taking part in Open Doors for the third consecutive year.

The week-long event is run in conjunction with BuildUK and supported by the CITB, to give young people and anyone else interested in a career in construction the chance to learn more about what the industry has to offer. It’s a great way to showcase the wide range of opportunities available in construction.

Here at Novus, we’re passionate about securing the future of the industry, which is why we’re opening our own doors on Wednesday 19th March. Our Operations Manager Paul Fox and Head of Operations Sean Ryan will welcome 15 T Level students from Salford College to our site at the University of Manchester to provide a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like to work in our sector.

The students will receive a site tour and information about careers in the industry, with a particular focus on quantity surveyor roles. They’ll also be provided with a buffet lunch and an exciting prize draw to win a tablet.
